I worked out recently that I’ve probably been taking photographs of Ailsa Craig for some fifty years. Mostly it was a few photographs taken when I was here in the summer.

Over the last three or four years, I have been taking photographs of it in all weathers and times of the day. I keep thinking that I must have all the photographs of it that I could possibly get and then, up pops another.

I have produced three calendars during the last three years, and I even have a Facebook page where most of the pictures are of Ailsa Craig!
